Cantaloupe and Blue Cheese Salad

original recipe


½ tsp fresh ground pepper
2 tsps lime zest
3 tbsps fresh lime juice
1 tbsp honey
¼ cup  fresh basil
¼ cup  extra-virgin olive oil
2 small cantaloupes
1 cup crumbled  blue cheese
½ cup pecans
1 to taste salt

Dressing: Combine lime zest and juice, honey, basil and pepper in medium bowl.  Gradually whisk in olive oil

For the salad: thinly slice cantaloupes(or you can use a melon baller) and place on serving dish.

Add cheese and pecans.

Drizzle dressing over salad.

Season with salt to taste and enjoy!
