Peanut Butter Bars
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup graham cracker crumbs(about 6 graham crackers pulsed in food processor)
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
3/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1.) In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 8×8 inch pan.
2.) Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave on 50% power until melted. Stir in the 2 tablespoons of peanut butter until smooth. Spread chocolate mixture over the prepared peanut butter/graham cracker crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
These are always a big hit! So I usually double the recipe and use a 9×13 inch pan.
