Helllooooo!!!! My bloggy wog tends to hit the back burner when life starts getting interesting. Its summer and sales for my graphic design site have slowwwwed way down. Summer break is nice but I miss working. NO seriously!!

My brother is graduating this Friday! It is hard to believe my little brother is all grown up. Wait, is he? I guess that depends on who you ask! HA

The hubby (a.k.a Bear) is in the middle of a summer photography class. If all goes well we may invest in a fancy shmancy Digital SLR Camera. He has visions of being a wedding photographer on the side.

We are still in the process of creating our own website. Seeing as sales have slowed down we might be able to finish it up! I am soooo excited. It will be wonderful to have our interactive portfolio available to all of our prospective clients.

I updated you all a few posts back with the news about my being a first time expectant auntie!! YAY!! Three cheers for the extreme overuse of exclamation points!!!!! I am still VERY excited!!!! Can you tell? I will be the happy auntie of a brand spanking new nephew in October! Each time we go shopping I make a beeline to the baby section. Buying baby things is so much fun. Hubby says “Geez, if you are looking around and buying all this stuff for my sister’s baby then how much stuff will you buy when it’s our baby??” Just you wait and see Mr. HA!

We really want to start a family. I keep waiting for the “right time” and seeing as the first try didn’t yield happy results the waiting has been extended much longer than imagined. What am I waiting for? I am waiting for hubby to find a full time job so we have steady income, health insurance, a respectable car, a bigger house (we have a small office and a small bedroom) the list goes on and on and on. Everyone keeps telling me that there is never going to be a perfect time to start a family. God will work things out I know. Extravagant things like health insurance would sure be nice though. LOL!

So this is what has been going on since my last post. To stay up to date you can add us on facebook So till next time friends, fans and followers! XOXO

>Happy Thanksgiving!!

> I want to wish all of my wonderful family and friends a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter and awesome food! I am just about to head into the kitchen and whip up two pecan pies and mashed potatoes. This year Thanksgiving will be at my mom’s house. We are having turkey (odd isn’t it!), yams, green beans, potatoes, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and blueberry. Sounds like quite a feast. After being stuffed to the gills me and hubby will waddle to our car and go home for a bit of rest before the early AM shopping expedition.

Where are the good deals this year? Have you all seen any Black Friday deals that would pull you out of bed at 2:00am to rush to the store? So far after viewing ads from Kohl’s, Sears, Staples and Target. I have not seen anything that actually made me go WOW I have to get up for that one. I have seen a few deals that looked okay but nothing too amazing. I still have gifts to buy and also some new Christmas lights for the house. Decorating is going to start soon!! I can’t wait.

Our neighborhood goes all out for the holidays. Nearly every home is decorated with thousands of lights, windblown lawn ornaments and even musical light and water shows! It truly does turn into a winter wonderland. I cant wait to see what everyone does this year! Do you go all out with decorating for the holidays? What is your favorite decoration? Do you have a color palate that you stick to for your tree/decorations? I decorate my main tree with silver, blue and crystal ornaments and clear lights.

While you are stressing out about tomorrows festivities and what is going to take place. Remember all the things you have to be thankful for. Salvation, a loving family, friends, freedom, pets a job (good or bad its still a job) and soooo much more! Tomorrow no matter what disagreement arises. Be thankful for your family and the opportunity to agree/disagree with them. In the end you will all still be family and nothing can change that. We don’t get to take a pick, but that is what makes things so much more interesting! It is the imperfections that make us all so amazing.

So with that said. I wish you all an amazing day. Remember to wear your pants/skirt with the stretchy waistband. Say “Please pass the gravy”. Don’t wear a top with bell sleeves. (take my advice. They will end up in the gravy!! He he). Save room for dessert! Take a moment to look around at the peaceful/chaos and be thankful!!

Big hugs and blessings to you!
